Stag’s-horn Clubmoss

Steve has recently found Lycopodium clavatum (Stag’s-horn Clubmoss) at Baravaig in Sleat, the first record for this species in NG60 since 1976, that record being at the opposite side of this 10km square.

Looking at the distribution map after entering this record reminded me how limited recent records are for this species – and many are down to Steve.  Is it really far less common than it used to be on Skye?  Something to look out for this season.
