Trailing Azalea on Rum

Mike Ingram has found Kalmia (previously Loiseleuria) procumbens (Trailing Azalea) on Beinn nan Stac, Rum.  This is a first for Rum, being previously known in the vice-county only from the Cuillin and the Kyleakin Hills on Skye. I am hoping for a photo in due course…..

Later: This record has been retracted.

A neat plant. Never did find it down at Kyleakin.

Shame. I could have given you a grid ref.
