Bristly Oxtongue

John has found Helminthotheca (previously Picris) echioides (Bristly Oxtongue) at Waternish Farm.

This has almost certainly been introduced with wildflower seed.  The only previous record in Vc 104 was from the roadside south of Sconser eleven years ago.
