Plant Miscellany

Today a short distance from home with the family I found two new sites for Centunculus minimus (Chaffweed), one on the shore and one in a muddy roadside patch above the shore. August is definitely the time of year to look for this diminutive plant.

Sarah Longrigg has determined the Utricularia intermedia agg.  specimens from the first Skye Botany Group meeting as U. stygia (Nordic Bladderwort). It is beginning to look as if this is the only member of the aggregate present in VC 104.
