Mossy Saxifrage and Few-flowered Sedge

Yesterday I collected leaf specimens of Saxifraga hypnoides (Mossy Saxifrage) from the shore of Loch na Meilich on Raasay for some comparative molecular work at  the Univeriity of Leicester.

On the way back I checked on a flourishing colony of Carex pauciflora (Few-flowered Sedge).
